Auckland Botanical Gardens
Sitting on 64 hectares and home to more than 10,000 plants from around the world and offers both guided & self-guided tours. Located just 20 minutes from the city or airport it’s easy to add to any customized tour of Auckland for you.

Auckland Domain
Located not far from the CBD is Auckland Domain, home to the Auckland War Memorial Museum where you can learn all about New Zealand’s history and culture and the glasshouses of the Wintergardens, a must visit on any Auckland tour.

Harbour Bridge

Arataki Visitors Centre
Nestled in the heart of the lush Waitakere Ranges, the Arataki Visitor Centre is a warm and welcoming gateway to the natural wonders of Auckland’s western region. Serving as both an educational hub and a starting point for outdoor enthusiasts, the Centre plays an important role in connecting visitors with the area’s pristine beauty and rich cultural heritage.

Crystal Mountain
Crystal Mountain is loaded with fun activities with much to see for all the family. The purpose built gallery houses New Zealand’s largest selection of crystals and minerals from around the world with the largest crystal shop in New Zealand. The Crystal Mine Museum offers an educational journey and display of rare crystals, including a cafe, and animal park and theme rides.

Muriwai Gannet Colony
North West of Auckland is Murawai with its endless beach, surf breaks plus around 1200 pairs of gannets nesting on the rocky clifftops. A short walk from the car park, two viewing platforms and a background of breathtakingly sweeping sunset views, a superb location to end your customized tour.

Oratia Folk Museum
The museum holds collections that represent the domestic and working life of the early settlers to the Oratia area. The building which houses the museum was constructed c1870 and is a simple gabled pioneer cottage which is dressed to reflect its early history.

Piha Beach & Lion Rock
Lion Rock is Piha’s most iconic landmark, its profile from all angles, known nation-wide. Lion Rock sits between Piha and North Piha beaches, offering people who climb it, spectacular views in all directions.

Pukematekeo Lookout
Pukematekeo is a hill in the Waitākere Ranges of the Auckland Region of New Zealand’s North Island. It is located west of Henderson, and is the northernmost hill in the Waitākere Ranges Regional Park. The hill is a 336-metre peak in the Waitākere Ranges, and is the northern-most hill in the ranges.

Scenic Drive
Scenic Drive is a road that runs through the bush-clad Waitākere Ranges from Titirangi to Swanson on the western outskirts of Auckland, New Zealand. It is part of Auckland urban route 24. As the name indicates, it is famous for the sweeping views over the western parts of the Auckland Region.

EAST COAST GOLDEN SANDS

Brick Bay Sculpture Walk
Walk around the extensive sculpture garden. The track takes you around one side of the lake, up towards a section of vineyards, through regenerating native forest, with a side trip into a section of kauri regrowth, across a paddock, and then back down the other side of the lake.

Leigh Village & Harbour
Leigh is a small coastal village with a population of around 450 that includes farmers, divers, marine scientists, retired folks and fishermen, making it an interesting community. The population doubles in the summer months as holiday homes and accommodation fill up.

Takapuna Beach
A vibrant beachside destination with a city rhythm only 10 mins from Auckland’s CBD, Takapuna encompasses the best of everything – a relaxed beach atmosphere, designer shopping, a thriving hospitality scene with a huge variety of cafés, restaurants and bars with simply stunning views out across a white sand beach to the Hauraki Gulf and iconic Rangitoto Island.

Matakana Village
From the cascading cherry blossoms of spring to the riches of autumn leaves, you’ll find something to savour in every season. Just 45 minutes from the Auckland Harbour Bridge, yet a world away – there’s so much to love in Matakana Village.

Mathesons Bay
Matheson Bay Reserve has a popular beach for locals with plenty of open space for picnics and recreation with a popular bush walking track on the western side of the Kohuroa stream.

Orewa Beach
Just half an hour north of Auckland’s harbour bridge, the town of Ōrewa spreads inland from the edge of a magnificent three kilometre beach. It’s a great destination if you like swimming, surfing, kayaking, windsurfing and kite surfing.

Pakiri Hill
A short section of just over a kilometre following the route of the old Pakiri Road. A view from nearly 1000 feet (290m) above Te Rere Bay – just north of Goat Island over the extents of the Hauraki Gulf. This very site has an international historical significance.

Sandspit Harbour
In the heart of the Matakana vineyard region with bush walks and beaches all around, the protected harbour is a great jumping off point for trips out to Kawau Island, the Hauraki Gulf, Gt Barrier Island and for those heading north.

Warkworth
Warkworth acts as a gateway to the stunning beach and wine areas to the east. Goat Island, Tāwharanui and Matakana are all within easy reach from here. Poised at the edge of the Mahurangi River, Warkworth is a pretty town with an interesting choice of restaurants and accommodation.

THE COROMANDEL COAST

Cathedral Cove
From the beautiful Hahei Beach a one hour walking track leads along the cliff top and then descends to the Cove. Here a gigantic arched cavern passes through a white rock headland to join two secluded coves. The cathedral-like arch gives the whole area an air of grandeur. The beach is sandy with shady pohutukawa trees along the foreshore – a perfect place for a picnic, swim or simply admire the breath taking beauty.

Driving Creek Railway
The Coromandel is famous for its mining and no tour to the the Coromandel is is complete without a visit to the The Driving Creek Railway which is New Zealand’s only narrow-gauge mountain railway. Unlike most other tourist railways, this railway is newly built rather than being an old line that has been restored. With glow worm BBQ tours and an onsite pottery factory there is plenty to see and do here.

Hot Water Beach
A visit to Hot Water Beach is a must do for a tour of the Coromandel. Either side of low tide visitors flock to Hot Water Beach with to find hot water bubbling through the golden sand. Armed with spades, families, kids, couples and tourists can be seen digging their own spa pool in the sand and relaxing in the natural springs. A truly unique Kiwi experience that every visitor to New Zealand should experience.

Karangahake Gorge
When you drive through Karangahake Gorge along the rivers edge with steep cliffs either side you will simple want to stop and take in the awe inspiring scenery. The historic walking track along the rivers edge in the gorge has swing bridges, tunnels, waterfalls, railways, rusty mining equipment. In other words it has it all and a must stop location on any Coromandel tour.

Ngatea Water Gardens
With water fountains made out of recycled materials and a whole lot of humour make for a surprisingly fun and unexpected visit. The picturesque 5 acre property has funny signs and scenes throughout, bridges, past water lily ponds, waterfalls, waterwheels and magical fountains. You will be kept entertained by our friendly hand fed birds and fish, plus our fascinating turtles.

Tairua Coast
Tairua is a beautiful location with incredible scenic views to add to your Coromandel Tour. With views out to the twin peaks of volcanic Mount Paku and the jagged Aldermen Islands, Tairua is scenic and stunning. Inside the headland, Tairua’s harbour offers sheltered waters for sailing, kayaking and windsurfing and several walking tracks including a climb to the summit of Paku.

Raglan
Raglan is a bohemian surfers paradise on the west coast of the Waikato. It’s a quaint seaside town with elegant shops, galleries, restaurants. From pancake rock formations, golden sands, perfect surf, rainforest walks, windfarms and waterfalls. There’s good reasons why Kiwi’s come to Raglan to get away from it all.

Te Puia
Experiencing natures geothermal valley where you can see Pōhutu, the largest active geyser in the southern hemisphere which erupts once or twice every hour and reaches heights of 30 metres. Visit the Rotowhio Marae and admire the stunning example of Maori architecture. Learn about Maori art, carving, weaving & culture.

Waitomo Caves
One of our most famous cave formations can be found at Waitomo and offers several types of cave tours. One to experience is a visit to the glom worm cave by boat.
